Description
The Unitree H2 EDU SMART I is package letter I in the H2 EDU SMART line, built on the research edition of Unitree's full-size H2 humanoid. The hand and compute options of this edition are itemised on the quotation. That way you see exactly what the letter covers before you commit.
What sets the H2 EDU platform apart from the standard H2 is room to develop. An Intel Core i7 computer (PC2) for custom development sits beside the Intel Core i5 (PC1) that runs the platform's own functions. Secondary development is supported on the development computer, while the motion-control computer stays closed. The platform also takes high-power computing modules from several brands, up to NVIDIA Jetson AGX Thor at 2070 TOPS, and the H2 EDU carries a 12-month warranty where the standard H2 has 8 months.
Universities and AI labs use a platform like this to study motion planning, perception, embodied AI and human-robot interaction. Integrators add cameras, LiDAR, controllers and custom software to it for pilot projects in inspection, mapping and teleoperation. The H2 EDU body stands 1820 mm tall and weighs about 70 kg with its battery, with 31 degrees of freedom before any hands.
SMART I is listed as a separate model from SMART J, K and L, and the differences between them are confirmed with the quotation. The product photo shows the H2 EDU body in general and is not a guide to the hands of this edition. For the platform on its own, see the Unitree H2 EDU.
